Certification Recognizes Schneider Electric for Delivering Top Quality Service and Support
Sydney, AUSTRALIA – November 13, 2013 – Schneider Electric announced today that its SCADA & MES Global Support centres in Sydney, Australia and North Andover in the US have achieved certification under the prestigious Service Capability & Performance (SCP) Support and eService Standard. Schneider Electric achieved certification after an extensive audit of their SCADA & MES Global Support centres. The SCP Standards quantify the effectiveness of customer service and support operations based upon a stringent set of performance factors that represent best practices in the industry.
“We are extremely pleased to have earned SCP re-certification for the eighth consecutive year and eSCP for the third year running,” said Karun Sukhwani, Customer Satisfaction Director, Schneider Electric. “The comprehensive criteria defined within the SCP standard are very much aligned to the values and vision of our corporate Connect program which aims to boost customer satisfaction. As part of our ongoing commitment to deliver world-class service to our customers, we have made significant investments over the years in enhancing our digital service capability, training our support engineers and reducing average resolution times. Achieving the SCP certifications validates this commitment to service excellence.”
The Service Capability & Performance (SCP) Standards are designed to improve the quality and effectiveness of technology service operations. Service Strategies Corporation and a consortium of leading technology companies created the internationally recognized standards, which define best practices for delivering world-class technology service and support, quantify performance levels and establish a framework for continuous improvement. Certified companies must continue to demonstrate their performance and commitment to excellence through annual certification audits.
“The SCP Standards represent the benchmark of service excellence and are used by leading technology companies around the world,” said Greg Coleman, vice president of strategic programs for Service Strategies. “Schneider Electric can be proud to be placed among industry leading service providers through their attainment of certification under the SCP Standards.”
Schneider Electric joins the ranks of leading technology companies certified under the SCP Standards. Currently, over two hundred service organizations around the world are using the SCP Standards to improve their business operations. These companies include industry leaders such as Advent Software, Assurant Solutions, EMC Corporation, CompuCom Systems, Fuji Xerox, McKesson Corporation, NetApp Inc., Sophos Ltd. and many others.
