Harland Financial Solutions Earns Certification Under the Prestigious Service Capability & Performance Standards

Certification Recognizes Delivery of Top Quality Service to Clients

Lake Mary, Florida (December 9, 2008) – After completing a rigorous program, Harland Financial Solutions’ UltraData® Enterprise Group has renewed its certification for its Pleasanton, California location and achieved first time certification for its Des Moines, Iowa location under the Service Capability & Performance (SCP) Standards. Representing best practices in the industry, SCP Standards quantify the effectiveness of client services based upon a stringent set of performance standards. The California and Iowa locations underwent stringent audits, conducted by Service Strategies Corporation, in order to attain certification under the standards.

“Recertification for our Pleasanton facility and first-time certification for our Des Moines facility under the SCP Standards program represent milestones that continue to demonstrate our ongoing investment in our clients’ success and our focus on delivering world-class service and support,” said David McConney, executive vice president and general manager for Harland Financial Solutions’ Credit Union Core Systems Group. “We continue to set ourselves apart in the industry as the only core processor to have achieved this distinction.”

The SCP Support Standard, under which Harland Financial Solutions was certified, is part of a suite of service capability and performance standards designed to improve the quality and effectiveness of technology service operations. A consortium of leading technology companies created the internationally recognized standards in cooperation with Service Strategies Corporation. The standards define best practices for delivering world-class service and support, quantify performance levels, and establish a foundation to build on existing quality processes. Certification requires comprehensive audits and annual recertification to confirm that companies continue to meet the requirements defined by the SCP Standards.
