Models for Account Management Staffing

Presentation delivered at the 2012 Service Industry Summit

Abstract

Account Managers have to take the unlimited diversity of client demands and funnel them through the company’s defined processes. The large variability of demand makes it difficult to predict how many Account Managers are needed to service the clients. In this session, Jesus Blasquez, Director Client Services for SCC Soft Computer, will discuss his organization’s account management staffing model. The session will include a review of the client classification system and complexity scoring model used to predict Account Management resource requirements and the methods used to ensure service quality and program success.

Jesus Blasquez
Director, Client Services – SCC Soft Computer

 Jesus Blasquez is the Director for Client Services for SCC Soft Computer, the world’s largest Laboratory Information System (LIS) vendor, providing integrated solutions for multi-site Integrated Hospital Networks. Jesus is a licensed Laboratory Manager and holds Bachelor’s degrees in Microbiology, Clinical Chemistry, Medical Technology, as well as and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Jesus has held many positions in healthcare ranging from Laboratory Technologist to Laboratory Director as well as positions as a programmer and IT Director.
