Montreal, Quebec (September 4, 2008) — Speedware Ltd., a leading provider of innovative enterprise software solutions and productivity tools, announced today that its customer support center has achieved certification under the prestigious Service Capability & Performance (SCP) Standards for the eighth year. Speedware achieved certification after an extensive audit of their Montreal, Quebec support center. SCP Standards quantify the effectiveness of customer service and support based upon a stringent measure of performance and represent best practices in the industry.
“The benefits of SCP certification have helped to differentiate Speedware in the marketplace,” said Maria Anzini, Director of Customer Service and Product Support at Speedware. “Our customers perceive SCP certification in a very positive light, which has helped us gain new business. The fact that we are SCP certified was instrumental in securing our recently-signed contract for providing application support for legacy modernization.”
The SCP Support Standard, under which Speedware was certified, is part of a suite of service capability and performance standards designed to improve the quality and effectiveness of technology service operations. A consortium of leading technology companies, along with Service Strategies Corporation, created the internationally recognized standards, which define best practices for delivering world-class service and support, quantify performance levels and establish a foundation to build on existing quality processes. Certification requires annual comprehensive audits to confirm that companies meet the requirements of the program on a continuous basis.
“By passing the rigorous requirements necessary to achieve certification, Speedware has made it clear they are committed to delivering world-class service and support to their customers,” said Derek Nash, SCP Auditor. “During the SCP audit, Speedware demonstrated a clear commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.”
Speedware joins the ranks of other leading technology companies that have achieved certification under the SCP Standards program, which according to Service Strategies includes EMC Corporation, Lockheed Martin Incorporated, GE Healthcare, McKesson Corporation, Rockwell Automation, Nokia and NetApp, among others. Currently, more than 200 technology support organizations around the world participate in the SCP program.
