2022 Service Industry Outlook Research Report

The Service Industry Outlook research report highlights priorities of leading services organizations.  Service Strategies has conducted several studies over the years on the outlook service executives have for their businesses. The first was done in 2009 after the economic collapse, followed by a study in 2011 to gauge progress during the recovery. The 2017 study came on the heels of a slowly improving economy and the promises of more robust economic growth. The 2022 study comes at the end of a global pandemic that resulted in significant changes to the business environment.

This report highlights the results of the study and provides an indication of the actions companies are taking within their service organizations, their priorities and their outlook for growth within their services businesses. Over 50 leading technology companies participated in the study, which was conducted through web based surveys and interviews with service executives.
